Happy Valentine's Day!!

Drake went to the doctor today and of course got shots. This was more of a traumatic experience for him and his great grandma than it was for me. I guess I look at it as I would rather have him cry for awhile than for him to get one of the illnesses that the vaccinations protect him from. He now weighs 12 pounds and is 23 inches long. As you can see from the picture he is a chunk and is growing like a weed!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day.

We went to Kari's last night and she took some new pictures of Drake. You can see then at www.touchoflovephotography.blogspot.com . He is now starting to smile and have other facial expressions. He also blows bubbles and like to tell "stories". Tomorrow he will be two months old!!! (My how time flies). Thats all for now.

Sleeping with Grandpa

I took this picture on Friday before I left for the day. Grandpa was really happy to be home and see Drake after having to stay in Muskegon because he had the flu. With temperatures dropping below zero with the wind chill we really didn't do anything this weekend because we didn't want to get Drake out in the cold. So this weekend was pretty relaxing!!!!

I'm doing much better at making sure I upload photos now that I'm back in school and we have faster internet at home. Drake is doing well . He is very good for each one of his sitters and has been sleeping for at least four hours between feedings at night which I am very great full for. Drake

Drake went for his one month check up yesterday. He weighed a whopping 10 pounds and was 21 and 1/2 inches long. He got his second round of the Hepatitis B shots and he did really well with it. He only cried for a few seconds. He didn't seem to have any reaction to the shot other than a slight fever last night that kept him up from four a.m. to after seven a.m. after not going to sleep until after one. Which made for a very long night for me. Other than that he is doing great and is a very good baby which I am very great full for.

Drake is 1 month old!!!
